Random Fandom Ponderings: House and Stacy

Awhile back, and I unfortunately no longer have the link, someone wrote a long, quasi-essay, about how House's relationship with Stacy more closely mirrored his relationship with Wilson, then it mirrored his relationship with Cuddy; this was before Season 7, and I believe was written some time around Season 2. House rekindling his relationship with Stacy was really the first time we see him being romantic or tender with anyone. Now that the show has ended, I'm curious; does House's relationship with Stacy really mirror any of the other relationships he's had? Are there more differences, or similarities? What do you think?
